Tournaments are not just a sport event. It promotes tourism in the hosting country and local business. It could be a good opertunity to have international contacts as well.

 

To host a successful open Snooker championship, you will require the following:

 

1. A venue no less than 2,500 sq. mt.

2. Fourteen Snooker match tables.

3. Four practice Snooker tables.

4. A good hotel with reasonable price (4 or 5 star).

5. High speed internet connection for live streaming.

6. Provide TV coverage.

7. Approval from your ministry of sports and other governmental administration as required.

8. Arrange a free trip for the participants in association with your ministry of tourism to explore your country culture.

9. Opening and closing ceremony attended by VIPs like the prime minister, minister of sports, minister of tourism, ambassadors of the participating countries and sponsors.
